Top Free Mac Apps
I have just re-installed my MacBook. Most of the following apps are free and a “must have” for all mac users:
Firefox 3 – Since I used Firefox for years under Windows, it is not easy to switch to Safari due to lack of addons.
Thunderbird – I have not even tried “mail” under MacOS, since i want my mails get directly imported from Windows to MacOS.
Smultron – really nice text editor, it’s free! You may also try TextMate(Shareware) or textwrangler(free).
Adium and Skype are the best for chatting. iChat is good, but who use it?
Quicksilver – app laucher, the first app I start
Cyberduck – free (s)ftp client under MacOS
CoverSultra – shareware, a must have to control itunes, album cover is displayed on desktop, dock, menubar etc.
LiteIcon – feel free to change system icons
Seashore – since imagewell becomes shareware, here is an alternative for quick graphic editing
Miro and VCL player for playing any video format. Miro can even automatically download youtube videoclips!
Squirrel – Personal finance application. Currently only 6.99 EUR! It will cost 25 EUR after version 1.0
AppCleaner – freeware for deleting apps, nice!

Adium和Skype我也有装 skype私密性好 ichat聊天界面舒服 不过用的人的确不多 尤其ichat

ichat可以同时和多人视频？ 这个其他都做不到。。

只安装过VCL player 为了看我收藏HD的电影
Divx和Mpg的都没问题 x264的和DTS－HD音轨就有的问题播放
